Orders & Shipping
Most products leave our Freeport, Maine studio in 1-2 business days.
Personalized items are made to order, and will ship in 2-4 business days. Please remember this doesn’t include shipping time, which will vary by destination and the shipping method you choose at checkout.
Need something immediately? Contact us before placing an order and we’ll do our best to meet your deadline.
All Treeline & Tide items are packaged in a kraft paper gift box or stamped cotton bag (ready for giving). For all orders, we include a gift receipt only, which doesn’t show pricing, so orders can be sent directly to the recipient. We’re happy to add a small note as well. You can leave the text in the notes section at checkout.
Domestic orders over $40 ship for free via USPS First-Class Mail and typically arrive in 2-5 business days.
For orders under $40, the shipping cost will be calculated by weight and distance on the check out page.
If you need your order sooner, choose Priority Mail at checkout. Your items will arrive in 1-4 business days, based on destination.
Yes, we do. Please be aware of some specifics though: Orders shipped via USPS First-Class Mail International do not come with tracking once the package leaves the United States. Transit times can vary from a few days to a few weeks. Insurance claims for USPS International shipments can be difficult or impossible to collect on.
We recommend selecting UPS or FedEx as your shipping service, as they provide tracking for international packages, generally have faster shipping times, and have more reliable insurance claim processes.
Customers are responsible for any customs charges or fees that may be incurred by shipping to an international destination. We do not control customs fees and if you have further questions about them, please contact your local postal service.
Returns & Exchanges
We hope you love your purchase, but if it’s not quite right for you, we'll gladly issue a refund for the purchase price. The item must be returned in its original condition within 30 days of delivery date to be eligible for a refund.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to our review of the returned product. Please email us at hello@treelineandtide.com to initiate an exchange or return.
Custom and personalized orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. This includes orders that have an error that is not our fault (i.e. spelling mistake). Please check carefully when placing your order.
For hygiene reasons, earrings and hoops cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please consider insuring your return for the price of the item – we are not responsible for lost packages.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please let us know right away and provide photographs of the item so we can make it right as quickly as possible.

Yes, we do offer a repairs on our items. Please send an email to hello@treelineandtide.com along with a picture of the item you are looking to have repaired and your order number, so we can advise further. Depending on when your piece was purchased, there may be a charge for this service.

Yes! At Treeline & Tide, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. If a product is found defective within one year of purchase, we will repair or replace the item free of charge.
This warranty does not cover chain breakage, water damage, or general wear and tear. General wear and tear includes tarnishing of silver jewelry and darkening of the wood over time, and therefore, is not covered by warranty.
To ensure your Treeline & Tide items stays looking good for as long as possible, keep them away from water and chemicals such as perfume and chlorine. For jewelry, store it in a cool, dry place in an individual pouch or box.
A note about wood: The beauty of wood is found in its unique grain patterns and subtleties of color and texture. Please expect some of these natural variations in your items.

Treeline & Tide products are handcrafted with great care and attention to detail. We source a majority of our materials from USA based suppliers to help support other small businesses and reduce our ecological footprint.
We use beautiful hard woods, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Since wood is a natural material, it will have unique grain patterns and subtleties of color and texture. Please expect some of
these natural variations and remember that your items will vary slightly from the ones pictured.
All Treeline & Tide jewelry is made with hypo-allergenic (skin safe) materials. Necklaces and earrings have sterling silver or 14k gold-filled chain and ear wires. Stud earrings have titanium posts. These materials can generally be worn by anyone with metal sensitivity.
Our cuff bracelets have an aluminum base, which makes them very lightweight and easily adjustable for a custom fit.
Most of our accessories and home goods are made with a stainless steel base, which needs no special care and will last a lifetime.
No, 14k gold-filled jewelry features multiple layers of 14k gold bonded over a base metal, typically brass or copper. This thick gold layer will not tarnish or scratch, ensuring lasting quality and making it a safe and cost-effective option for individuals with metal allergies seeking stylish pieces without the high price tag of solid gold.
All wood pieces are finished with a protective clear sealer, meaning that your jewelry will be fine if you're caught in the rain. However, repeated or prolonged exposure to water will damage the finish, and the wood, so remove jewelry before showering or swimming. Consider keeping your silver jewelry in a small sealed plastic bag to avoid tarnishing.
Store in a dry place.
Bottle openers and other home goods should not be submerged in water – wipe with a damp cloth if needed.
Personalization and custom engraving options vary a bit depending on the product – specific details can be found on each item page.
We don't typically provide a proof prior to making your order. Once you've chosen your font and your engraving text, you can trust that we'll use our years of design experience to make it look beautiful. That said, please do make sure everything is spelled correctly before placing your order.

Our cuffs are designed to be adjusted. With the cuff off your wrist, use steady pressure until it stays in the shape or size you want. If it keeps springing back into place, just use a bit more pressure.

The wood we use is from sustainably managed forests. We only use North American woods that are in plentiful supply.
We have also made the commitment to package and ship our goods in boxes and containers made from recycled material that can be recycled or composted in turn.
Our shipping is carbon neutral.
The wood in our products comes from sustainably managed forests, but we want to go one step further, so we partner with One Tree Planted to support reforestation projects. For every product we sell, we donate enough to plant one tree.
