Products

What materials do you use?

Treeline & Tide products are handcrafted with great care and attention to detail. We source a majority of our materials from USA based suppliers to help support other small businesses and reduce our ecological footprint.

We use beautiful hard woods, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Since wood is a natural material, it will have unique grain patterns and subtleties of color and texture. Please expect some of these natural variations and remember that your items will vary slightly from the ones pictured.

All Treeline & Tide jewelry is made with hypo-allergenic (skin safe) materials. Necklaces and earrings have sterling silver or 14k gold-filled chain and ear wires. Stud earrings have titanium posts. These materials can generally be worn by anyone with metal sensitivity.

Our cuff bracelets have an aluminum base, which makes them very lightweight and easily adjustable for a custom fit.

Most of our accessories and home goods are made with a stainless steel base, which needs no special care and will last a lifetime. 

How do I care for my products?

All wood pieces are finished with a protective clear sealer, however they are not waterproof and repeated or prolonged exposure to water will damage the finish.

Jewelry and accessories should be removed before showering or swimming. Store in a dry place. We recommend packing earrings and necklaces in a separate box from other jewelry when traveling to avoid scratching or damage. We also suggest keeping your silver jewelry in a small sealed plastic bag to avoid tarnishing.

Bottle openers and other home goods should not be submerged in water – wipe with a damp cloth if needed. 

Do you offer personalization or custom engraving?

Yes! Personalization and custom engraving options vary a bit depending on the product – specific details can be found on each item page.

We don't typically provide a proof prior to making your order. Once you've chosen your font and your engraving text, you can trust that we'll use our years of design experience to make it look beautiful. That said, please do make sure everything is spelled correctly before placing your order.

Do you take custom orders?

We love custom orders. If you’re looking for unique bridal party gifts, wedding favors, items with your company’s logo or something else, we’d love to talk. Contact us here.

How do I figure out the correct belt size?

Order your belt size based on pant size. (i.e. if you wear a size 34, order a Medium belt). If you are in between sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size. Feel free to contact us with questions on belt sizing before purchasing.

How do I adjust a cuff bracelet?

Our cuffs are designed to be adjusted! They can absolutely handle being squeezed into shape to get a perfect fit to your wrist. Simply use steady pressure until they stay in the shape or size you want. If they keep springing back into place, just use a bit more pressure. 

Orders & Shipping

When will I get my order?

Most products leave our Freeport, ME studio in 1-2 business days. Personalized items are made to order, and will ship in 2-4 business days. Please remember this doesn’t include shipping time, which will vary by destination and the shipping method you choose at check out. Need something immediately? Contact us before placing an order and we’ll do our best to meet your deadline. 

Do you offer gift packaging?

All Treeline & Tide items are packaged in a kraft paper gift box or stamped cotton bag (ready for giving). For all orders, we include a gift receipt only, which doesn’t show pricing, so orders can be sent directly to the recipient. We’re happy to add a small note as well. You can leave the text in the notes section at check out. 

How much does shipping cost?

Domestic orders ship for free via USPS First-Class Mail and typically arrive in 2-5 business days. If you need your order sooner, choose Priority Mail at checkout. The cost will be calculated by weight and your items will arrive in 1-4 business days, based on destination. 

Do you ship internationally?

We sure do! Please be aware of some specifics though: Orders shipped via USPS First-Class Mail International do not come with tracking once the package leaves the United States. Transit times can vary from a few days to a few weeks. Insurance claims for USPS International shipments can be difficult or impossible to collect on. We recommend selecting UPS or FedEx as your shipping service, as they provide tracking for international packages, generally have faster shipping times, and have more reliable insurance claim processes.

Customers are responsible for any customs charges or fees that may be incurred by shipping to an international destination. 

Returns & Exchanges

How can I return or exchange something?

We hope you love your purchase, but if it’s not quite right for you, we'll gladly issue a refund for the purchase price. The item must be returned in its original condition within 10 days of delivery date to be eligible for a refund. Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to our review of the returned product. Please email us at hello@treelineandtide.com to initiate an exchange or return. Custom and personalized orders cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes orders that have an error that is not our fault (i.e. spelling mistake). Please check carefully when placing your order.

Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please consider insuring your return for the price of the item – we are not responsible for lost packages. 

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please let us know right away and provide photographs of the item so we can make it right as quickly as possible. 

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes! At Treeline & Tide, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products.  If a product is found defective within one year of purchase, we will repair or replace the item free of charge. Warranty does not cover neglect, misuse, or staining.

Are your products made sustainably?

We source a majority of our materials from USA based suppliers to help support other small businesses and reduce our ecological footprint. The wood we use is from sustainably managed forests. We only use North American woods that are in plentiful supply. We have also made the commitment to package and ship our goods in boxes and containers made from recycled material. 

How does your giving back program work?

For every product we sell, we plant one tree. The wood in our products comes from sustainably managed forests, but we want to go one step further. We partner with One Tree Planted to support reforestation projects. Why trees? Trees clean the air we breathe and the water we drink. They help stabilize our climate, provide habitat for biodiversity, and create sustainable jobs. We’re committed to doing our part to keep our planet’s forests healthy.
