Each pair begins with real hay-scented ferns, arranged by hand and exposed to the sun using the historic cyanotype process. The plant blocks the light, leaving a pale silhouette against deep blue. Afterward, they're sealed and ready for everyday wear.
Every fern is different, so no two pairs are identical.
The long ovals have a slim profile and sway as you move. They're light enough to forget you're wearing them.
Each pair comes with a herbarium-inspired botanical card.

Gather and press
Plants are selected and then dried to preserve their forms.
Arrange and expose
Each piece is carefully composed and then exposed to sunlight to start the cyanotype process.
Rinse and reveal
The cyanotype mixture is washed off and the impression the plant left behind is revealed.
Seal and finish
Each piece is sealed to protect it, and ear wires are added.
