Framing
Every framed print is made to order by my framing partner in the United States, in solid wood with an acid-free mat and UV-filtering acrylic.
The mat gives the artwork room to breathe and holds the print clear of the glazing. The lightweight, shatter-resistant acrylic protects the piece while keeping every fine detail in view.
Your print arrives fully assembled and ready to hang, with hardware included.
Understanding print and frame sizes
The size you choose is the size of the print itself. The mat and frame add to the finished dimensions.
A 1½-inch mat surrounds the print, adding 3 inches to both its width and height. The frame adds roughly another inch in total, depending on the style selected.
For example:
- an 8 × 10-inch print measures 11 × 13 inches with the mat, and 11⅞ × 13⅞ inches framed.
- a 16x20-inch print measures 19 x 23 inches with the mat, and 19⅞ × 23⅞ inches framed.
Use the overall framed size when measuring your wall.
