Description
Single Fern Cyanotype Print
A simple composition so the shape and fine interior structures of the fern remain the focus. Subtle shifts in tone record how the plant, paper, and sunlight met that day.
The fern’s natural imperfections are preserved here, too. They show the wear, and the beauty, of living.
All prints contain a white border with a reproduction of my signature.
Print Process & Materials
Each reproduction print is made using giclée printing, a fine art printing process that uses archival pigment inks to capture the color and delicate details of the original cyanotype.
Printed on heavyweight, 300 gsm archival fine art paper that is acid-free and lignin-free for long-term stability.
Handle your print by the edges with clean, dry hands and avoid contact with the printed surface before framing. Display behind glass or acrylic, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Every museum quality framed print is made to order by my framing partner in the United States. The frame is solid wood with an acid-free mat and UV-filtering acrylic.
The mat gives the artwork room to breathe and the lightweight, shatter-resistant acrylic protects the piece while keeping every detail clear.
Your print arrives fully assembled and ready to hang, with hardware included.
Framed prints are currently available for delivery within the United States only
Understanding Print and Frame Sizes
The size you choose is the size of the print itself. The mat and frame add to the finished dimensions.
A 1½-inch mat surrounds the print, adding 3 inches to both its width and height. The frame adds roughly another inch in total, depending on the style selected.
For example:
- an 8 × 10-inch print measures 11 × 13 inches with the mat, and 11⅞ × 13⅞ inches framed.
- a 16x20-inch print measures 19 x 23 inches with the mat, and 19⅞ × 23⅞ inches framed.
Use the overall framed size when measuring your wall.
Frame Styles
Natural: Organic, warm, neutral
Black: Classic, bold, dramatic
